Thought of buying car. Need tips to get car insurance
My detail
1. I m holding a Malaysian driving license since 1997. And German license since 2 years ago

2. Single Male (30) w.o child

3. Living and working (software) in Dresden

How much (roughly). WHich is the best insurance comp.

For GDL less than 3 years, I think MLP would be the best. I made it with them last month, after suggestions from trust7 members: http://trust7.com/en/forums/help_needed/mlp_or_other_auto_versicherung

MLP is now Janitos (www.janitos.de). I too think this is only viable insurance company for the beginer. But with 2 years GDL, other options are also available like Gothar etc.. I am with MLP (now Janitos) from day 1 of my GDL.
