You must cancel your spouse visa application and apply as a tourist. For any schengen state, you can not have multiple applications.

Do not cancel your application! Have patience for 2-3 months, you will surely get the visa, if you fulfill all requirements.

If your visa stamped with multiple entries option, you are allowed to travel all schengen states without any problems.

Yes, with Schengen Visa you can travel to other European countries.
