Hello,
Here is my issues. I have been in Germany for over 7 years, on and off. Usually I am gone for the months of May, June and July. I would like to apply for German citizenship at the end of next year, but the problem is I might not fullfill the residence requirements.

My question is, my work visa expires at the end of April and was wondering what I can do to get these 4 months count toward my residence requirements. I should be back at the start of August and will have my work visa sometime then. I just really need these 4 months to count toward residence requirement. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Why haven t you applied for the Niederlassungserlaubnis after five year?
Can you still apply for that?
