I am Sachin Nadgouda, currently residing in Sindelfingen, Germany.
Currently I am staying in Weimarer Str, Sindelfingen , Germany.

I arived in Germany on 29 April 2016 and stayed in Stuttgart for first few weeks.
I did my anmeldung in Stuttgart on 8 May 2016.
Then I shifted to Sindelfingen and registered myself on 19 May 2016.

Then I applied for an appoinment as the auslander office for visa extention and residence permit on 23 May 2016.
They said they would require my files from Stuttgart for further processing and it would require a month.
Now after a month Sindelfingen officer says that they also do not have my documents.

I have been to Germany along with my wife on 3 months entry visa (work visa valid from 29 April 2016 to 27 July 2016).
Now I have applied for visa extension in the Aliens office in Sindelfingen Rathaus but they are saying that my documents are not in Germany and Mumbai consulate needs to send them.
My visa will expire in 29 days so please help me out as soon as possible.

Can you please help me and let me know what to do next?

No need to be panic my friend. Your case will be addressed before expiry of your current visa. If not they will give temporary visa (Fiktionsbescheinigung) for another 3 months which is as good as RP.

Now I have got a mail from the Aliens department as follows:

bitte veranlassen Sie dass Ihr Arbeitgeber wie auf dem Visum bestätigt, den Arbeitsvertrag und die Zustimmung der ZAV Team  uns in Kopie übersendet .

Um schriftliche Stellungnahme wird gebeten. Insbesondere welche Ausländerbehörde im Visumverfahren benannt wurde, bzw. welcher Wohnort in Mumbai im Visumantrag angegeben wurde.

Alle Vorgänge müssen sich bei Ihrem Arbeitgeber befinden.

Es liegen uns keine Unterlagen von Ihnen und Ihrer Ehefrau vor.

What should I do next?

They asked you to talk to your employer, as your company should send them a copy of your contract and approval of ZAV. Also inform them in writing which German Embassy or Consulate you applied for the visa.

Simply take this letter to the HR Manager of your company and they should do everything for you.

I got a email from the officer for an appoinment for extention on 6 July 2016.
Thanks for all your help this was really helpfull.
Will let you know once I am throught the appoinment.
I guess my HR department must have send her the required documents.

Perfect! They will now complete the formalities and the visa will be issued for you and your wife on the 6th of July.

I had an appoinment today, done with the formalities.
Next week I have to go for collecting the visa and the eAt will arrive via post in 3-4 weeks.
I and my wife got visa extension till my passport expiry date i.e almost 3 years.
So happy that the documentation is done..... now peace for next 3 years.......
