Holding the dependent visa

I am working in Indian based company in Germany and I have a Germany work permit and My wife and Kids have the dependent visa and they went to India on Feb,2011 and they are planning to come back on August,2011 (with in a 6 months) and with in 3 months they will go back to India.

My question is : my wife and kids are mandatory to stay 182 days (from 01-01-2011 to 31-12-2011) in Germany to holding the dependent visa.
