Dears,

So I got a contract from a company working in Munich, and a pre-approval paper too from Munich Foreigner's Office I think. I have applied for national visa in German embassy in Cairo, Egypt.

It has been 1 month so far and still got no updates. I tried to call embassy, however they don't want to assist.

So I would like to ask from your experience, how much time as an average it takes to obtain national visa from Munich? I thought that since I have a pre-approval it not gonna take lot of time, but looks like it's unuseful here.

Also is there any way to track visa status there from Germany? or is there anything my company can do to speed up process?
