Notary Service or Indian Embassy

power of attorney indian embassy notary service ratingen india

Hi All!

I need a Power of Attorney to India. But I am not sure if I should go to the Indian Embassy and get it done or can I get it done from a local Notar.
I live in Ratingen and the nearest embassy is in Essen. Also, I am currently undergoing my integration course so I cannot a day's leave and go to the Indian Embassy to get this done.
Do you know which is the better and cheaper way out?
