GC, any changes to job rules for spouse?!

Hello,

Though have seen this topic being discussed at length, wanted to clarify if the new immigration laws have brought in any changes on the work permit for spouses.

I am from India and GC holder, living in Germany since June 2001, with permit expiring next April. My marriage is planned around October. Would like to know, when my husband(also Indian) gets a job here before our marriage, can we both continue with our jobs after marriage?
What documents and proceedings do we need to fullfill to have to continue with our jobs?
If the new immigration laws have better possibilities, how can I change my present work permit to avail the same?
