Hi All,
If anyone is fired without much reasons, Is there any laws to take the employer to the court?? Will there be any chance to win

As far my job is concernerd, it is secure. (Atleast for next 2 years). But I just wanted to know the rights of an employee. Normally do the employee has got rights to challenge the termination????

As said, it really depends on the reason and the circumstances.
A woman on birth leave for example can never be fired; the boss of the company can say that the company is not getting well so they have to fired people; maybe he doesn't like foreigners and start making problems to make them do mistakes and fired them... It really depends on the situation, but as far as the company is concerned, the boss can fired you when he wants, but then he has to have serious reasons.
An example which happened in Mainz last year: a guy was watching porns on his computer at the office, and he got caught, and got fired, he took the company on courts, challenging them to sow that during all the time he was employed, his output was bad, thing they couldn't and he showed that watching porns were not banned from the company internal policy (which was given to every knew employee and renew and sent to each employee every 3 months).
Believe it or not, he won on court and got back in the company. The company changed its policies, had to pay him as requested from the court and he resigned one month later getting his money and all. See, it really depends... ;-)
