Hi All,

I worked in Germany for 3 years and then moved to USA. I took 2 years mutterschafts urlaub. which ended last month. I spoke to BFA (on line chat feature where you can chat with rep from BFA)and they said since you have stopped contributing to the pension fund 2 years back you can apply for getting your part of pension back.

Has anyone from USA recentlly applied for there pension. What all did you do to apply for getting back your pension back being in the USA and an Indian by nationality.

The form that needs to be filled is called v900?

Do you need to go to the German embassy in USA to attest that you were in USA for the last 2 years.
