Hi all,

My wife is leaving Germany for eight months with the letter from ABH which alllows her to leave Germany for more than six months wihout loosing her residence permit.

We both are filing joint Tax returns with me as Tax Class III as she being the housewife files as Tax Class V. Will it effect the Tax Class III for this year if my wife leaves before 30th of June i.e  if she lives in Germany less than six months or I can continue with Tax Class III as she is expected to return after eight months
