Hi friends,
I am from non EU nation. i was working in France for the past 2years 8 months under work permit visa. i have paid my social security contributions for all the time i stayed in france. after getting a new job in germany i moved to germany. My question is do i need to follow some procedures so that my contributions for social security is preserved. Do i need to report or file some papers to french administration regarding my departure . or my payslip telling departure is enough?

to tell exactly, if i loose my new job(in germany) can i show my previous contributions and job in another EU state for unemployement benefits in germany? Am i protected by EU ?
