Hi All!

I'm soon to get married, my spouse is currently placed in US and currently getting trained for her A1 exam ( part of the requirement for Spouse visa). My spouse will be getting back to US after marriage. Can we apply for the spouse reunion visa from US ? Or it should be applied only from India ?

from US - since she is a resident..


better apply from India, since Marriage Certificate verification will start easily.. quit job in US .. and relocate to India. Ask consulate..what is good.

Hi,

if she is residing in US for more than six months prior to the filing of her application, than she must aplly at the nearest German Embassy/ Consulate in US.

Thanks for your suggestions emoticon . She is in US since last two years.

I shall check for the documentation/pricedure requirements for applying from US.

After reading another post on T7, I would recommend her to apply from India.
