Help Regarding Visa Issuance Time

Today my husband went to abh to enquire about my visa process...they told him that it has been approved but when i called today to karachi consulate..the lady told me that we cant tell you the status right now and will call you ourself...my problem is i have to give resignation at my work on 30days notice...can anyone tell me how much time does it take for them to issue the visa?
