Hallo Trust 7 Members,

Here I come with one question which puts me in confusion.I wish if someone had same situation they might share their experiences.

I am working since January 2013  here in germany. When I started my Job my Salary was not up to the Bluecard level so I have got normal workpermit.

After my salary has hiked and applied for Bluecard and I have got it in May 2014.

Here My Question is when can I get eligibility to apply for Perminentresidence ? The Rente(16 months) which I paid Until I received Bluecard status will be considered for PR  ?

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

visit your local foreigner office and ask them. Here is the official text:

Under certain circumstances, residence periods under a different residence title may be eligible where the conditions for a settlement permit for EU Blue Card holders are already met. In this event, the immigration authority has discretion to decide whether it is possible to apply for a settlement permit immediately. In such cases, possession of an EU Blue Card is assumed for a “logical second”, and a settlement permit is then issued. In other cases, you must first apply for an EU Blue Card, and may only apply for a settlement permit after the Blue Card has been issued.

Good luck

Hello Detlef,

First I would like to say thank you so much for your reply.

Right now I am holding Blue card. Let me write my pay details little more clear.

01/2013 – 04/2014  - 2600 Brutto (16 months)

05/2014 – Salary has Hiked and holding Bluecard

Here my question is my Initial 16 months Rente will be counted or not?

Actually before going to KVR just would like get some feedback If someone had similar situation..

Once again thanks.
