Hi,

I know that you get tax back when you change your tax class after getting married.

For example: A person changes his tax class from I to III in December, he will be considered in tax class III for that year and will get back the extra tax paid.

What happens when a person gets divorced let us say in December, and changes his class from III to I, does he have to pay something back to the authorities for the whole year?
