I am from India and started working in Germany in December 2011. I have filed the tax returns for 2012 and 2013. But I never filed the tax return for 2011 since it was just one month and I was not aware of all the rules at that time. I came to know that if someone has not worked for the whole year then you can get the whole tax money back and also for the first year you get more money back. So I was wondering if it is possible that I can file the tax return now. If someone has some info regarding this then please share.

I am not a tax expert.

It is better to reach a tax consultant for your case.

you can file your tax returns for 2011 before 31st of dec 2014.

You can also apply after that but you have some process for it.

Tax consultant will charge you some money for 2011 but he will take care of your relocation expenses and other for that year.
