Hi,

I got job in Germany and I will be soon traveling to Germany from India. My Employer suggested me to take TK insurance or GVK as it is best.I have 3 question for family coverage specifically for Pregnancy :

1. Is there any wait period for Pregnancy coverage ? (This means Pregnancy coverage will start after 8 months or 1 year of taking TK / GVK health insurance etc)

2. If my wife is pregnant while travelling to Germany and if I add my wife to family coverage as soon as she comes to Germany , will Pregnancy be covered ?

3. Do I need to pay for extra premium / take add on policy along with TK / GVK to cover pregnancy situation right from day 1 in Germany ? 

If GVK or TK has wait period or not covering pregnancy as soon as family lands in Gemrany , can anybody please suggest any Private Insurance which will cover this situation ?

In these days, health insurance is varies as per the state rules and regulation. Which means some countries are supporting some of the kind of rules and other state may be they didn't follow like that various changes are happening in this section.
