Hallo all,

We are shifting from BW to Bavaria.
Is Abmeldung madatory in BW before we move to Bavaria ? One of my friend suggested that once we do Anmeldung in Bavaria, Abmeldung is automatically done in BW.

Hi,
You have to do abmeldung before you leave BW.
For Anmeldung in Bavaria you need abmeldung papers.

No need of abmeldung.
You need abmeldung only in case you leave Germany.

If you are moving within germany, register yourself at the new city office within the first week. All your records will be transfered automatically.
