How many euros in cash can be carried while travelling to India???

You can carry millions of euro in cash if you declare at the airport.

However, avoid taking 5 Euro denomination :-)

i would ask you to shut your mouth as you are using foul language unnecessarily. What akshay said was right. You have to declare above a particular and there is no upper limit

"Tourists should take care to declare foreign currency in the form of currency notes, bank notes or TCs if in excess of US$ 10,000 or equivalent and in the form of currency notes in excess of US$ 5000 or equivalent."

I donot know why peopel want to carry cash instead of using travellers cheque or bank transfers and it is alos not necessary to be converted in Rupees.
I mean this is safe and it costs also not much interms of the risk of carrying cash.
