I found in the forum one discussion that one can manage to get NE without 60 Rentenbeitrags. Do we have some clause§ or official letter to supoort this? I am living in Germany for last 6 years.. 3 years with Gc n previously as student. Can I also get NE? Thanks.

No
60 Renten are not needed but 5 years of AufErl are needed. You had AufBew first 3 years and it is not counted in 5 y.
