I would like to know what procedure I have to follow to intimate the post office of my address change when I shift to a different house. I want to just inform them to retain my letters in the post office, so that I can collect them later. Is there any fee for this service?

Or you can simply ask them to forward to you your letters to your new address, it's done for a 3, 6 and 12 months period normally, time for you to get all the people who had your old address the new one, but it also costs some money, can't remember how much.

It costs 15 euros for 6 months. You need to report it to the post at least one week before the actual forwarding starts.
