Hello,

I am currently employed in a automotive supplier firm with a local contract and a salary >60k€/yr. I currently have an Aufenthaltstitel which will expire after 2 years. But i want to convert into Blue card asap. Can i do this immedeatly or should i wait until Aufenthaltstitel expires.

Ideally one should wait until existing Aufenthaltstitel expires. However, if you convince your case officer or give him/her strong reason for conversion, it should not have any problems. It just that you will end up paying visa fee of 100+ €.  Please bear this is not a legal advice.
