Hi,

My husband is moving to Germany from his company on a 2 year work assignment.Is it possible for me to work in Germany on spouse dependant visa?I heard the law allows this since september 2013.

Please help.

Thank you for your reply.My current company has an office in Germany.But on dependant visa i will have to first come to Germany and apply for residence permit.Only then my company can allow me to work on dependant visa.Im i right?Does anyone have any idea regarding this?

you will have to come to germany and then you will get dependent work permit.

if your job is skilled and blue card eligible.. apply for employment visa instead of dependent from India.

Hi,

Would anyone know where can i get proof that dependant work permit is possible.I need to prove it in my office who say it is not allowed to work as dependant.when my husband asked in his office they said its possible but my office they dont believe so and say they need proof legally.

Please help.

ask them to refer to  § 27 Aufenthaltsgesetz Abs. 5
