Hi prabath,

before asking a question, search the forum first, whether your questions have been discussed in (an)other thread(s) before or not.

Don't be lazy and search the forum for Gods sake! Search function is pretty slow, but it works. All of your questions have been answered before!

Thanks Klenze. Yes. I was lazy. I found answers for some questions. But now I have new questions.

The Bank (commerz bank) offers me two options for VWL.

1) Investing in some kind of shares FONDAK
2) or as a normal savings account.

The bank says investment in shares is the good one compared to savings. But I am afraid whether they are trying to promote some shares on their interest.

Could anybody suggest me the best? or share their experiences

thanks

If the bank says Option 1 is good, go for Option 2. ;-)

Hello Prabath,
I would say since the money is held for 7 years it is better to invest in some good mutual fund. I myself did that and when I compare it with my colleague who went for the money option the returns are very good. You can find some good mutual funds which are not so risky.
One problem I found is that once you decide on a mutual fund you cannot switch to another one in between.
