Getting back to Germany - IT Specialist from India

Dear All,

I have worked in Germany from April, 2010 till December, 2012 and returned back to India. I was holding section 18 visa earlier which tagged to my company in India. Since, after returning back from Germany, I have spent more than 6 months my Visa would have got expired

Now, I am in touch with one of the companies in Germany and they are Ok to provide me with a job offer that has gross salary as 60,000 EUR / annum. I also have a university degree which is at par with German degree ( I have already checked this in the website http://anabin.kmk.org/ ).

In the above case, what are my chances of getting visa ? Would it be Blue card that I need to apply for ? or would it be Schengen visa ? or should I ask my employer to get in touch with ZAV office and get a pre-approval for Visa ?

Appreciate your help and guidance on this.
