Hi all
Recently I applied for family reunion visa and my wife performed every formalities in Indian embassy and I was asked to give all the documents here in ABH in Germany which I did and later they told me that I must have either of these documents to issue the visa.

a.Permanent resident of Germany
b.Or must have married in India before entering Germany
c.Have a blue card

I want to know if there are any other possibilites,
I came to Germany on feb 2012 ie before bluecard came into existence.And I am wondering how was the rule before this card was introduced or I never heard such kind of information before.
Please let me know your valuable comments, also couldn’t find any similar questions in the recent threads.Could not get further information from Internet also
