Finanzamt and Unterhalt for parents

I paid unterhalt for my old parents in India and the total amout of money transfered to my parents were more than my netto income.
Now while filing tax return Financeamt says its impossible i transferred money to my parents more than my netto.
As both my parents are ill and my father had to undergo a bypass also by mother is undergoing treatment.I am also paying rent for their accomodation and in India there is no social security system as here.
Now do i have to get all bills from India to prove the finanzamt showing how much money my parents used which i transferred ?
