Hello everybody.

I am an IT professional with ~10 years of software development experience; living in India. I am interested in moving to Germany using the Blue Card system.

The first step for the card is to get a good offer letter from a German company. I am thinking of applying through the key job sites in germany like monster.de, jobpilot.de etc.

I would like to know about the general respone from German companies to direct applications from foreign nationals from developing countries. Are such applications through the job portals entertained by the companies or generally trashed? What is their general outlook in this regard?

Please share any direct/indirect experiences.
