Postdoctoral researchers are often payed according to TV-L 13 payscale, and the salary is 3.271 Euros per month (http://oeffentlicher-dienst.info/c/t/rechner/tv-l/west?id=tv-l-2013&matrix=1).
Technically it should satisfy the Blue Card requirements, as a postdoc:
1) obviously has a university degree (PhD level)
2) receives more than €36.192 (3.016 Euros per month)

Is there anyone who is a Postdoc in some German academic institution and has acquired a Blue Card?
