Want Hartz IV back

Dear Trust
I left Germany last month on 2 May. At that time I was on Hartz IV. The last installment of Hartz IV I received on 28 April.
Today I got an email ( main attached )from the hart iv guys asking me to return the money for remaining days of May.

It is shocking because at no point did they say that I have to return the hartz 1v. They always encouraged me to take up a job asap. It is never possible to join a job just at the end of month when new hartz iv is due...Please help me let me know what should I do

anbei leider der Rückforderungsbescheid. Wir haben Ihnen im April Leistungen für den Monat Mai gezahlt.
Da Sie allerdings bereits im Mai nach Amerika gezogen sind, standen Ihnen diese Leistungen nicht zu. Daher müssen Sie die angegebene Summe an uns zurück zahlen.
