Hello everyone,

My spouse visa has been rejected two times because of financial reasons (less income).  Everytime Embassy took 8-9 months to reject the visa.  Third time, my husband shows adequate income but now also it has been 10 months and there has been no answer from the Embassy.  Can anyone advice me on that.  How much time Embassy takes for the processing.  The German authorities are not giving any answer for so much time.

Hi mundra, sorry to hear your situation.
Can I ask you where (in which city) you applied for the family reunion visa? Did you apply at German embassy in Delhi?
Who needs the required income, your husband? And how much is enough?
Your reply would be hugely helpful to me.
Many thanks and I hope you will succeed at the end.

Hi,

Yes, I had applied from German Embassy, Delhi.

My husband needs to have adequate income to support me finacially when I will be in Germany.   Income should be more than 2000 Euros per month.

Thanks for your quick and kind reply.
Can I ask you: Is your husband a German citizen?
If not, do you think that this 2000 euros a month is required also to the german citizen?
Hoping to hear you back again.
Thanks

Hi mudra, reply to your first question: I also appllied at German embassy in Delhi and I was told that it would take 8 to 10 weeks.
Beyond this I have no idea what might happen.
Again, as I read many threads on this forum I got to understand that every case is different from one to another.
Let's stay alert, be positive and strong.
