Hello Everyone,

I have applied for blue card on the second week of June. My work contract was supposed to start on July 1st but till today I have not received any response from the foreigner's office. On enquiry, I/the HR manager only get the responce "Ist noch in Bearbeitung, wir melden uns" (application is still on progress and we will inform you when it's over). Do I have any reason to worry about? What is the normal processing time? My salary satisfies the blue card requirements.

Hi,

this is quite normal. Nothing to be worried about!

Your new employer should be able to speed up the process by calling the officer in charge at your alien office.

in the end how long was the process for you ?

i submitted my eu blue card application 3 weeks ago and i was still waiting...
