If I find a job in another EU country and wish to move there, do I have to do "Abmeldung" in Germany after I get the residence permit for the new EU country, or is it done automatically once I receive the residence permit? The last time I finished my internship in Germany, I did the Abmeldung because it was recommended by the Meldebehörde. When I went to France after some years, there was no such thing as Anmeldung at the start or Abmeldung at the end. So I'm quite sure the Abmeldung is NOT automatic.
