"Termination without notice" - help needed

Hi,
I am facing a situation where my employer is threatening me to either relocate to another country - or face termination without notice. Where as my work contract which is a german work contract- only tells "I may have to work from any `Arbeitsort` " - but not explicitly from another country.

Wanted to know if it is legal for him to ask to work from another country - with a new contract. And is it binding on me to accept that?
