German Citizenship (Einbürgerung) - Student

Toggle
Hi All,

I am a Student in IT.
I live in Germany since 7 years and have a student job (not 400€ base). I work 20 hours per week in a world known company with a very good salary.

I have heard after 7 years of living in Germany one can apply for Citizenship, but I am not sure if that applies to students too.
some says you have to have the permanent job and some says no.
unfortunately there is nothing mentioned in Ausländerbehörde website.

That would be nice if someone could reply me, when he/she is sure about the rules.

Besr regards,
frhling
