Hi Friends,
@ YO1,
@ all those who followed my inquiry last week on Work Permit for Spouse in the new Law.

I was at the ABH today, to ask for my Wife’s WP. My Wife has been living with me for 2 + years.

The ABH personnel told me after reading through Law Books at her Desk
Quote:"I think your wife can get Arbeitsberechtigung without me contacting the Arbeitsamt first"

Then she printed out a new Auflage which says

"Beschäftigung uneingeschränkt erlaubt. Rechtsgrundlage §30 AufentHG
Selbständige Erwerbstätigkeit nicht gestattet"

So friends, even in the new Law, the Spouse would get a Work Permit!!.
The funny thing is that her Workpermit has no restrictions yet mine is still limited to IT field of Work.
