Can a UK HSMP, come to Germany(has NE)

Toggle
Hi to all

I have 1 doubt. I expecting your reply immediately.

i)I have got my NE on Dec'2005. Got my UK HSMP also the same month.

ii)Presently working in a bank,Frankfurt.

Now my question is,

1.Can I go to london for a interview and come back to Germany? Because I have read a topic on this site, and the answer was 'NO'.

But my friend told me that, 'Yes'. It's not a problem to go UK and come back.

Now I am in the critical situation. If any one of you give me the correct answer with proof(URL link or any book refer), I will be grateful to you

Of course you can go to London and come back!

To hold your NE, you have to stay in Germany for 6 months of the year. You can go to London and come back even if you have a regular multiple entry visa or a permit!

Hi Anbudan,

You don't need a law to prove that you can / cannot go outside Germany after having NE.

Like xenon123 said, the only law is that after having NE you cannot stay outside Germany for more than 6 months in one stretch.

Your interview I suppose will not last more than 6 months emoticon NE doesn't say that you cannot go outside Germany. Just consider it a personal holiday trip to UK and attend the interview. Nobody will question you.

Have success.

From where did you come up with the idea that you have to stay for 6 months in Germany. You are totally wrong because the section 51 of Immigration act http://www.bmi.bund.de/nn_174390/Internet/Content/Common/Anlagen/Gesetze/Zuwanderungsgesetz__englisch,templateId=raw,property=publicationFile.pdf/Zuwanderungsgesetz_englisch says if the foreigner leaves the Federal territory and fails to re-enter the Federal territory within six months or within a longer period set by the foreigners authority then the residence title shall expire.

@ Babloo,

I also share he same opinion. But I was told in this foroum only that one has to stay for atleast 180 days in germany.
May be does it have to do with the tax.
I donn't think that ABH and Finance amt talk to each other.
What I can tell ou is that my friend's wife has stayed for a year in India (She had GC)and returned back to Germany.
Nothing happened.
May be you just have to be anmeldet some where.

I think laywers should answer on this

You have to show that you are continously paying into social contributions and somehow you are engaged with the social system. It doesn't matter, which way you choose and to choose a better way definitely lawyers are there to help.

This is absolutely illegal. I don't think someone should put themselves into trouble like this even though there is no immigration check during the transit.

This is the minimum requirement to be register in local rathaus and having a room contract.
