Hello Everyone,
I am a software developer and got NE (Niederlassungserlaubnis) last month. I want to work as a free lancer starting from January 2013. I have multiple options of free lancing with contract duration ranging from 3 to 6 months extendable.
I will be getting married hopefully in mid of 2013 and then we will apply for spouse visa. My questions are
  1. Does working as a free lancer (3 to 6 months contract duration extendable) has effect on spouse visa?
  2. What is the minimum salary requirement for spouse visa? (I am aksing this because in one situation, as a free lancer, I may get two contracts from the same company. One for 2 years extendable with expected worth 1800 Euors bruto/month (for PhD research work) and second contract for 3 months extendable with expected worth above 5K Euros bruto/month (for normal office work))
  3. Should I stick to my current company as a permanent employee till spouse visa is issued? emoticon
