I would like to invite my parents from Delhi to munich and as per VAC-Delhi (http://www.vfs-germany.co.in) we have all the required documents but I have questions about these two docs:

I presume that now a days there is no need of travel-agent who can easily create dummy-travel-ticket.

1- Confirmend Flight Reservation

Should I buy the confirmed ticket online on lufthansa and what will happen if visa is denied and under "economy-saver" category ticket there is no refund on ticket cancellation?

What is the best way for showing Confirmend Air Ticket?


2- Covering Letter of applicant

Where can I find a good example of it?

Go with the travel agent to block the ticket and give the document to the embassy. But you dont have to buy the ticket from the travel agent afterwards and buy online.

It is nothing but a short letter saying that so and so want to visit their son/daughter in germany for holidays and so please issue us an visa.

The embassy people just want to get a written confirmation from the applicant with a signature about the true purpose of thier visit and not some perfect letter writing. So no need to worry about finding a good template.
