Greetings to everyone,

My sorry if this has already been answered in any other thread (I could not find anything similar.)

After having the Aufenthaltserlaubnis 5 years now,I am from Mongolia, I expect to apply for the Niederlassungserlaubnis, but in the Auslaenderbehoerde they informed that I can only apply for the Daueraufenthaltskarte - because I am married with a EU-citizen.

What is the difference between the both documents?
