I am going to move to berlin from the beginning of October 2007. I am looking for a small appartment (2 rooms) in the middle of Berlin with maximum 400 Euro Warm.
Expecting help/info from this forum members.

my advise is to check immobilienscout24.de, this is the best place to search with a budget. I also got the apt using this site.

Secondly if you are interested in a flat rate and if you are single, then ARWOBAU is another option. But this is not in the center but north west. My suggestion is you should stay in places that are safe rather than center of berlin.

I live in Steglitz area. This is preety good area but bit expensive. Still you may get apts here for your but difficult.

The birzirks i would suggest are
Wilmersdorf (Not every area is fine)
Challotenburg (again you should check)
Steglitz (bit expensive)
Fridenau (very expensive)

The other areas may be equally or more better. But i am not much aware of.

The agencies you can hire a apts from are
1) www.immobilienscount24.de
2) www.arwobau.de (furnished and good but cost 600 Flat all inclusive)
3) www.degewo.de (spelling not sure)
4) www.gagfah.de (spelling not sure)

There are also more small agencies who provide you apts. I was myself before by one called severin.
