Hi all,

I got one yr work permit few months back. Its stated on my workpermit that I am working as an software engineer at "PBO GmbH". does that mean , in case, if in future i loose my job then my work permit ends.

and is there anyway i can release this bound to the company while working in that company.

Thx
Rohit

Yes, your workpermit ends whenever you dont work with this company. Sorry to say, you dont have any possibility to change it for the next few years.

Yes you have to apply for a new workpermit with the new company and most probably it will also be tied to the company.

The answer is in how long have your worked. If you have worked for atleast for one year you will get Arbeitslosengeld and visa for maximum 6 months. Before that you have to find a new job or else you will have to leave the country. If you havent finished 1 year and loose your job then it is upto the AB to extend your visa or not.
