Restricted freelance visa for wife of a freelancer

Hi,

I have a freelance visa restricted for IT.On my residence permit it is stated that I have the permit as per § 21 AufenthG, which is related to self employment. I am working as freelancer since one year. My wife entered germany as my dependant. She has IT experience from india. Now she also got a freelance contract. When we asked for IT-restricted freelance visa, ABH refused to give. My wife's permit states that it is as per §30 AufenthG.

Sometime back I have heard that spouse can get the same rights(ofcourse with a reference to my status) as husband with a permission from ABH. Is it written anywhere like this in the law? Any helpful information is appreciable.
