I have a friend who works for a company, She is from argentina and she joined a company as scientific research assistant was suppose to start her Phd . She came to germany 5 months back.

Due to unknown reason company give her a warning and she might be fired before probzeit. her visa is attached to company.

Ones fired her visa will be invalid i think!!

Question

1, Will she get a job serach visa.
3, Will she have to go back to argentina as soon as she is fired.

Yes, once she is fired, her visa become invalid as per law, if visa is attached to company.

1. No, she will not get job search visa. One get Job search visa only, when you have completed your studies.

2. Well, she can request to ABH for an extension, and most of the time ABH give 3 months visa, but it only depends upon the person in ABH, there is no rule that you must will get it.

1- If you can contact her, maybe you can suggest her to drop a line to the moderator of the "Argentines in Germany" forum (charles_a_ingalls yahoo dot com)

There is a lot of people there and maybe communicating with country mates and in mother languaje can help with new ideas or something else.

2- If would be clever from her side to start working for a new job, independenty if she is fired or not. If she was good enought to manage to get a Doktorand position, she will manage to get another job here.
