Visa Extension process and new work permit getting

Dear Forum Members,

I am currently in a different scenario.
My present company work permit in Germany expires soon.
I am yet to receive work permit for new company.
And I must go to India and come back. While coming back my visa will be expired.

Here they can extend VISA only after getting Work permit, Right??

Case 1:
If I get the work permit before I go to India, can I go for VISA extension?

If yes how can I get my Passport VISA stamped when I am in India, because I leave to India after initiating VISA extension process??
To come back new visa validity must reflect in my passport, right?

Case2:

If I don't get new company work permit before I go to India, can I receive it from German Consulate in India??
What can I do from India in this case. How to apply for Visa extension from India?
