I'm glad I didnt miss this trend.
I hope to attend the meeting.

Is the Hotel Central also the venue for the meeting ?
Could you give an insight into what kind of tour to expect ? Or an outline of program ??
This might influence the number of those that may want to sign in, you know.
This would be my second time of visiting Berlin, should I make it.
The first time was very brief.The second time around I would like to enjoy it.

I was just going to post a new message, when I saw yours :-)

Okay, here are the latest news. Our meeting will not be at this Hotel Central, this is just a suggestion for a cheap hotel. And it is close to the trust7 office. At the trust7 office we will have YO and family and maybe Plamen.

At my home I will have Manuel with wife and baby, coming from Madrid, just to join our meeting.

I can not manage to organize and accompagny a tour, I can just give tips where one can go for a tour and I can give individual tips, depending on ones interests. I suggest the morning of the 7th for sightseeing. Our meeting will start at 5 pm, 17.00 Uhr, at a typical Berlin 'Gartenlokal', with very reasonable prices and a very good kitchen. They offer many different meals, even vegetarian ones.

I hope the weather will be nice, that we can sit outside. The end is open, there is no so called 'Polizeistunde' in Berlin. We could celebrate the party unti next morning ;-)

I hereby ask all 'Berliner' GCs, to offer a place to sleep for our friends coming from outside!

You can offer it here in the forum or you can send me an email and I will give the place following the princip 'who comes first will get it'.

I want to let you know, that we have already about 20 confirmed participants for our meeting.

For example some 'famous guys' like YO, Nobody, Plamen, DvD and some of the VPMK lawyers, my tax consultant and some of them with family :-)

Manuel will come from Madrid, just for this meeting and he brings his wife and baby.

I know, that there are still some of you, who are looking for a seat in a car, 'Mitfahrgelegenheit'. Please post a message with your mail address if you have a free seat in your car and let us know, where you are coming from.

Last week I met Frau Ponert at this restaurant, to test it! I can say, the meal was delicious and the beer was cold and strong ;-)

Is there an Internet site for Berlin, similar to http://www.mvv-muenchen.de? This site is very useful, but is only for München, of course. It allows to enter from where to where you want to go, and lists the optimal route by the city transport?

I've been a 'lurker' on this site for a long time, but have often found some useful information among all the confusion - particularly about everyone's favourite bugbear - the Niederlassungserlaubnis.

Anyway, I wanted to come along tomorrow evening, so I finally took the plunge and joined the community.
