I already contacted some hotels and as soon as I have feedback from your (GCs) side, I can do more research.

I will publish some different opportunities here, but everything depends on the number of visitors. The best would be to come on Friday evening for a short 'Hallo' and a 'Welcome Drink', then the Saturday could be free for sightseeing and/or shopping and the meeting will start in the afternoon, with open end.

Sunday is the day for travelling back.

I am a 'Berliner' so I can easily recommend some places to go and to see and if the number is big enough, I can also organize a special sightseeing tour.

You know, meanwhile I made some experiences with the GCs, so I will wait until I have some confirmed visitors, before I try to deal with a hotel for example.

Unfortunately I have to leave the office right now, so I can answer your questions only in the evening.

But there is still some time until May ;-)

Problem with this auto is that production starts in 2008. So it could be used only if this Berlin meeting would happend "ein Paar Tage" later. ;)

I was quite eagerly looking forward to a get-together of all our trust7 GC´s. But unfortunately I wont be able to join you all this time, as I have planned to go to India for vacation during May. But I hope that Detlef will arrange another one before the Summer 2005 ends!

well, nowadays I´m living in Stutgart and I would like to participate in our GC get-together, but I´m changing my job and I´m not really sure if I have to move to München (to be defined in the next weeks)at May the 1st.

So maybe I would be be part of the team of Bayern, but I hope to concrete my last job option in Stuttgart area (also in the next weeks) to avoid the relocation.

So, anyway I will try my best to go there, specially ´cause my birthday is on May the 6th and I can´t imagine how many presents I´m going to receive from the members of our generous (and well-paid) GC family ;-) :-)

Hi folks,

today I asked in some hotels for rooms and prices. Because the 5th of May is a Holiday in Germany, 'Himmelfahrt', most of the employees will have a long weekend, because they do not have to work on Friday, the 6th.

This is a good opportunity to make a real intensive visit to Berlin, with all the places to go, but on the other hand, you have to book your hotel early in advance, because many Germans and other tourists are also travelling to Berlin at this time.

So, if you want to stay for 3 nights (from Thursday to Sunday) or for 2 nights (from Friday to Sunday) please make up your mind and book soon!

There is a small and cheap hotel 30 meters away from my office, they only offer rooms and breakfast, but it is clean and close to the subway, close to the airport Tegel, easy to reach from the highway and with good restaurants in a walking distance.

At the moment they have some rooms available. A single room is 60,- € including breakfast, a double room costs 75,- €, also with breakfast.

You can book only via phone / fax, no internet ;-)

I'll come with pleasure. The only thing could stop me, is that I started a new job now. Let me see how is it going on. What is the dead line to book a room?

About the jokes: I WAS popular among the friends of mine with tese jokes. Now I have idea to write a book, like Max... But the problem is, that the most of the heroes are still alive (I'll get in troubles in a short time). And, the book will be not in German, definitely!

There is no deadline for booking a room, there is no deadline at all. Even if someone decides on the same day to come, it is fine. The only problem will be, to get a room for a reasonable price, because of this long weekend and the big number of visitors in Berlin.

Could you give an insight into what kind of tour to expect ? Or an outline of program ??

I was just going to post a new message, when I saw yours :-)

Okay, here are the latest news. Our meeting will not be at this Hotel Central, this is just a suggestion for a cheap hotel. And it is close to the trust7 office. At the trust7 office we will have YO and family and maybe Plamen.

At my home I will have Manuel with wife and baby, coming from Madrid, just to join our meeting.

I can not manage to organize and accompagny a tour, I can just give tips where one can go for a tour and I can give individual tips, depending on ones interests. I suggest the morning of the 7th for sightseeing. Our meeting will start at 5 pm, 17.00 Uhr, at a typical Berlin 'Gartenlokal', with very reasonable prices and a very good kitchen. They offer many different meals, even vegetarian ones.

I hope the weather will be nice, that we can sit outside. The end is open, there is no so called 'Polizeistunde' in Berlin. We could celebrate the party unti next morning ;-)
