LOL .. this must be a joke! Indians who were working in Germany are going back to India to work as programmers as the american-indians are doing from quite sometime.

I assume they went there to give support to the new established German companies in India. Outsourcing is easy, but you have to deliver the know-how as well. So some unfortunate have no other choice than going to wherever their code went.

The first mistake done by the German developers is when they decided to comment their code in English. Imagine outsourcing code commented in German. ;)

It's clearly stated in that article that it's not abt money..it's more abt oppertunities for more IT experience..I guess when it comes to software development u have more chances of learning new technologies and gaining experiences than here...it's quite natural b'cauz of outsourcing...

Long back I read a joke Americans que up outside Indian Embassy in US for getting work permit to work in India, and one guy said its better to get married to a Indian girl then coming here daily at 3:00am in the morning :-)

It's no more a surprise about Germans going to India.I knew lot of my frens returned to India and settled with a good job.
