Any latest experience of travelling to India with German residence permit on old passport and note on new passport that Valid visa on old passport. Or is it must to get it transfered....

check your last page in the new passport. It should be mentioned as "old passport contains valid visa". Anyway for your own convenience it is better to transfer your visa to new passport.
