Hi Members,

I have a question regarding the following scenario of a friend. 

My friend has been living in Germany since last 12 years and he has a Niederlassungserlaubnis. Now he wants to move back permamnently to India. He has made several investments in Aktien and Festgeld. He wants the portfolio to grow for 10 more years in future.

Is this possible to maintain the german bank account and Wertpapier while he lives in India ? I understand that his Niederlassungserlaubnis will expire after 180 days. Can he still maintain his investments in Germany ?
